Some Company History BulletProof Corporation was founded in September, 1994 for the purpose of building and distributing comprehensive database applications for IS organizations and their internal networks. Having substantial database design, development and implementation experience with major corporations the founders were ready to build their own company to do it better. In October 1995, Java appeared and changed our perception of the Internet’s capacity for real business applications. BulletProof quickly moved into Java development to provide JAGGServer, the first robust, scalable Java database access server. The extension of the server technology was conceived in early 1996 and a natural for the firm’s database experts. This was the birth of JDesignerPro, the complete application development and deployment system. JDesignerPro allows IS managers and Intranet developers to quickly build data-driven Java Intranet solutions for common business problems. On August 1, 1996 BulletProof shipped the first license of JDesignerPro. Today JDesignerPro is a mature, feature-rich and proven system for rapidly developing and deploying business applications across Intranets and the Internet. The JAGGServer is now part of the BulletProof Enterprise Application Server, which handles complex middletier execution tasks of any server-side process or set of processes while shielding these complexities from the user. Thanks to these innovations and superior product offering, BulletProof now counts many of the Fortune 1000 among its customers. |
