| AutoConnect.com
is a leading vendor of new and used automobiles
on the web. Recently they needed an Intranet
information management system for customer
service representatives. Their tool and server of
choice? JDesignerPro
Mr.
Matthew Keogler, Development Engineer at
AutoConnect.com, recounts the story:
" At
AutoConnect.com we needed to track numerous
incoming emails and phone conversations.
E-mail is one of our main methods of
communication with users and customers. Our
new Java apps built with JDesignerPro allow us to
see up to the minute status of a customer's
account and conversations.
AutoConnect.com
personnel simply use a browser to access the
information which has made a huge improvement
over old deployment methods."
About
the Applications:
"
We've deployed two systems. First we built
what we call an Information Management Dash Board
for Customer Service Representatives.
JDesignerPro allowed us to include e-mail access
and customer database forms in a single
solution. BulletProof's Enterprise Server
handles the DB access, client deployment and
scalability for us.
Second
we utilized the HelpDesk module that comes with
JDP. It's a nice addition which allows
AutoConnect employees to register problems, see
how other problems were fixed, and allows the
HelpDesk Manager to view the status of all
registered problems. Overall we saved a lot
of time and money."

JDesignerPro?

long did it take to complete the application?
