Stone-Smashed Guacamole with Radish and Jicama

Stone-Smashed Guacamole with Radish and Jicama

Start to Finish: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 jicama
- 2 radishes
- 2-3 avocados
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ bunch cilantro
- 1 lime
- 2 tbsp. hot sauce (or 2 hot sauce packets)
Instructions:
- Prep your veggie chips: Slice radish into coins, thick enough to dip into your guac. Slice jicama into sticks. (New to jicama? Watch this video.) Set aside.
- Chop cilantro. Cut lime into wedges. Open avocados. Remove and discard the pits.
- Scoop avocado flesh into a bowl. Add cilantro, garlic powder, salt, hot sauce and lime juice to taste.
- Smash together using a (clean) stone, fork or spoon. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Let sit for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld — if you can wait that long.
- Dip jicama and radish slices into guacamole. Enjoy!
