Quick Homemade Taco Seasoning Recipe

Have taco night every night with this quick homemade taco seasoning recipe, loaded with chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder and oregano. This flavorsome taco seasoning mix is your ticket to Mexican-inspired ground meat, or use it to season steak, chicken or veggies. This seasoning is so versatile — you can add or subtract as much or as little of spices that you like. There is some added heat from the chili, but that can also be minimized to your family’s liking. Quick Homemade Taco Seasoning Recipe

Start to Finish: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tbsp. cumin powder
- 2 tsp. coriander powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. onion powder or flakes
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 - 1 tsp. chili flakes (optional, if you like it really spicy)
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Instructions:
- Clean a leftover glass spice jar and dry thoroughly.
- Place a small funnel into the mouth of the spice jar. Then add all the spices into the jar through the funnel.
- Place the lid on the jar and give it a shake to combine.
- Alternatively, if you don’t have a leftover spice jar to use, mix all of the ingredients in a bowl until combined. Store the spice mixture in a small airtight container.
Depending on how strong you like your meat flavoured, this will be enough spice mix for 1-2 meals.
